Grandezza is a line of products by Volimea, which offers jointless and metallic plasters for walls, fireplaces, bathtubs or even furniture. The authentic metallic effect will make your surfaces shine in splendour, exclusivity and glamour, making grandezza the jewel among wall coatings. The possible applications are almost endless. Both in the private sector, to create highlights and set the scene for your rooms, and in hotels, bars, restaurants and commercial areas, grandezza is ideal for use.
The fire-certified B1 plaster convinces by its robustness, which makes the wall coating durable and shortens the renovation intervals. Unlike classic plasters, grandezza creates extraordinary iridescent effects that give the room a very special ambience. What was previously only possible with wallpaper can now be achieved with grandezza – countless creative, structured and patterned surfaces which, in contrast to wallpaper, are also convincing due to their many product advantages and durability. Even fireplaces can be plastered with grandezza. The acrylic putty is heat resistant up to temperatures of 150 degrees Celsius.

Since grandezza can also be used to create unusual surfaces and techniques, it can be used in theatres, shops and showrooms as well as in the private sector. The design possibilities and optics are almost unlimited and create the possibility to fully live out your own creativity. At the same time, grandezza is also easy to handle in terms of processing. Thanks to the fast drying times and the simple system construction, a wall can be designed just as quickly as a wallpapered surface, at least by a trained processor.

Velvet or slate optics, effects of rust, gold, steel or brass let an extravagant aura come into its own. Refined patina creates iridescent plays of light and colour. The intensity and structural strength of the surface determine the dynamics. Whether warm gold or cool silver, powerfully gleaming or elegantly discreetly velvety – grandezza has just about everything to offer and thus creates walls with character. The most popular surfaces are “Cortenstahl”, “Antik Messing” and our rust look. For the classic Cortenstahl, we have even been awarded the Red Dot Award, a well-known design prize.
Innumerable finishing possibilities and structures
The grandezza surfaces can be further refined individually and as desired. There are various possibilities. On the one hand, there is the metal spatula, which is available in Silber, Stahl, Gold, Bronze and Kupfer. But also patinas, such as “Grünspan”, “Schwarze Olive”, “Rubin”, “Antik Gold” or “Antik Bronze”, give the surfaces a special charm. Of course, the surface structure of the plaster can also be changed. For this purpose, there are various stencils and structure rolls with which you can emboss your plaster with patterns. The basic structure, on the other hand, is created by the basic filler from grandezza. This is used for modelling and is available in various structures and colours, such as “Anthrazit”, “Anthrazit Struktur”, “Natur” or “Betongrau”.
